Image Upscaler
Enlarge an image 2x or 4x with an AI model, right in the browser. Upload a file, pick a factor and a model, compare the before and after, and download the larger result. Free, with no signup and no watermark.
What this tool will and will not do
Every limit the server enforces, before you upload anything. Enlargement is 2x or 4x, output is a PNG at exactly that multiple of your input, and accepted inputs are JPG, PNG, WEBP.

How it works
- Step 1
Pick a file
Drop in a JPG, PNG, WEBP image. The caps in the table above are judged from the file header before any inference runs, so a job that cannot be delivered is refused instead of started.
- Step 2
Choose the enlargement
Pick 2x or 4x and the photo or anime model. The output is exactly the factor you chose in each dimension, verified against the returned bytes, and it comes back as a PNG.
- Step 3
Compare and download
Slide between your original and the result, then download it. Nothing is watermarked, and the file is deleted 1 hour after the upscale.
Measured speed
These are real timings, not estimates: one run recorded on 2026-10-11. Measured on a CPU box, not the paid GPU tier: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K, 24 physical cores, 24 inference threads. Each cell is the median of 3 runs after one warm-up run, in seconds, for a single image of that size.
| Model | 256x256 | 512x512 | 800x600 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fast, 2x | 0.47 s | 2.80 s | 4.77 s |
| Fast, 4x | 1.40 s | 6.25 s | 10.99 s |
| Quality, 2x | 0.91 s | 4.10 s | 10.93 s |
| Quality, 4x | 4.03 s | 24.94 s | 42.73 s |
One cell is a full round trip: the image sent to the worker and the finished PNG read back, including the PNG encoding and the transfer. Every run uses the same 256x256, 512x512, 800x600 inputs, so a rerun on this box is comparable. The paid GPU tier is not part of this build yet, so it is not represented above.
Free, and what Pro changes
Free is deliberately small so it can stay free for everyone: 3 upscales a day per IP, no signup, no watermark, input up to 2 MP and output up to 8 MP. That is the whole free tier, and it is the same tool the paid tiers use.
Pro is $9 a month for work that needs a bigger file: output up to 64 MP, 100 credits a month in place of the daily count, and the REST API. The pricing page carries the exact figures and the one-time credit packs.
What happens to your image
Your upload and the result are stored privately and deleted 1 hour after you upscale them. Nothing is public, and downloads go through short-lived signed links. Read the privacy page for the exact window and what is kept.
Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The free tier needs no account and no card: 3 upscales a day per IP, input up to 2 MP and output up to 8 MP. Nothing is watermarked, and the allowance resets the next day.
What does Pro add?
A larger ceiling and a different way to pay for the work: output up to 64 MP, 100 credits a month instead of the daily count, and the REST API, for one flat monthly price. The pricing page has every figure.
Does an upscaler invent detail that was not in the original?
It has to. The model fills in pixels the original never had, which is what makes a large enlargement read as a photograph rather than a soft blur, and it is also where a model can guess wrong on a face or a small logo. The result is exactly 2x or 4x your input in each dimension, and that is all this page promises about the pixels.
What happens to my images?
Your upload and the result are stored privately and deleted 1 hour after the upscale. Downloads go through short-lived signed links. The privacy page states the window for each path.
Which files can I upload?
Accepted: JPG, PNG, WEBP, and the result comes back as a PNG. An animated file is refused rather than flattened to its first frame, so nothing is silently discarded.
Can I use it from my own code?
Yes. Create an API key on your account and send it with the request. The API docs carry working curl examples, and a call is charged the same way a browser upscale is.
